Biography

Born in Altai Krai. In 2008 she has entered to the Novosibirsk State Conservatoire named by M.I.Glinka (the class of the People’s artist of RSFSR Z. Z. Didenko). From 2010 she has been improving her vocal skills in the Victor Popov Academy of choral art in the class of professor S. G. Nesterenko.

As part of the academy’s choir and as the soloist she was on tour in Russia, France, Germany and Switzerland.

Valentina Gofer has cooperated with the Russian National Orchestra under M. Pletnev: in 2014 she has made her debut at the Rachmaninoff festival in the opera “Aleko”, and in 2015 she took part in the opera “May Night” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov in the framework of the VI Big RNO festival.

In April 2014 she has made her debut in the “Requiem” by W. A. Mozart at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory (conductor A. Petrov). Took part in “Requiem” performing at the Novosibirsk State philharmonic (conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius, 2015).

She is a soloist of the Helikon-opera theatre since 2015. There are more than 10 operatic parts in her repertoire: Olga (“Eugene Onegin” by P. I. Tchaikovsky), Carmen (“Carmen” by G. Bizet), Ramiro (“La finta giardiniera” by W. A. Mozart), Sofia (“Chaadsky” by A. Manotskov), Dunyasha (“The Tsar’s Bride” by N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov), Governess (“The Queen of Spades” by P. I. Tchaikovsky), Laura (“Iolanta” by P. I. Tchaikovsky) etc.

She was performing under such famous conductors as V. Spivakov, Jan Latham-Koenig, Ken-David Mazur, M. Tatarnikov.
